So Lead Stylist, Dinah Pittman's son (Xolani) is in the process of preparing for the End of Grade Tests. With anxiety arising, Xolani, had an idea; "I need a 'SMART' Hat and that will help me with passing the EOG". Although the notion of a hat helping you pass is outrageous, Dinah went with it. But is it really THAT outrageous to help a child get over their fears and test anxieties?
We Think NOT!!..
So this is what we came up with:
According to Xolani, S.M.A.R.T. means
"Super. Mighty. Awesome. Righteous. Temperate."
These are all words that describe God and all things that he is becoming with God in him. And if it takes designing a SMART hat to get him motivated to pass the tests, then we will continue to do this...
The 'Fit Squad is also considering reproducing this and making it a product in our store. We will also donate some of the proceeds of this hat for Autism awareness on a more local level: NC Autism Society
